Funding Institutional (FI) is part of Elsevier’s Research Intelligence portfolio, a solution that combines over 18,000 active funding opportunities with information on over 7 million awarded research grants from a wide range of funders. FI helps inform research program strategy by finding active, accurate funding opportunities in a timely manner from over 4,300 government and private funding organizations, and by offering insight into research that has already been funded in any area of interest.

Funding Institutional is integrated with Pure to support funding workflows, and to gather valuable intel from previously awarded grant data and funders’ portfolios. The rich detail of Funding Opportunities can be imported into Pure, resulting in Pure-Funding Institutional being the only global Research Information Management system with built-in capabilities to support a university’s funding office workflow.

In this talk we will discuss in detail how Pure-Funding Institutional can support the full funding project lifecycle, recent developments, and future plans.
